FAQ
How do I get started if I think I need Physical or Occupational Therapy?
The process typically begins with a physician prescription/referral from your doctor / PA / APN or chiropractor. Often the referral source will call us to set up your appointment. If that does not happen, please do not hesitate to call us and we will be more than happy to help you get started. We work with most health insurance providers including Medicare. We also see worker's compensation patients and non insured patients. If you have further questions please call 479-751-7122 (Springdale and billing office), 479-521-2232 (Fayetteville), or 479-855-6814 (Bella Vista).
Most likely you will need a prescription or a referral requesting PT from your doctor/ PA/ APN/ chiropractor. Arkansas is a "direct access" state for most Physical Therapy services, but most insurance companies require a physician prescription. If you know your insurance company doesn't require that step, let us know. Don't hesitate to be proactive and ask your physician about Physical Therapy if you feel you can benefit!

Can I go wherever I want for PT and/or OT?
Similar to taking a prescription for medication to any pharmacy, you can take your prescription for PT or OT wherever you would like. If your physician refers you to another clinic and you want to come to Trinity, please ask them about coming to Trinity! Sometimes physicians will refer to a therapist they know, or to a therapy clinic that specializes in a certain type of therapy, but if you would like to come to one of our clinics or see one of our therapists all you have to do is ask!
